Oooh. My grandmother had a Vista Cruiser, I think a '68, back in the day. Awesome cars.

I can't find the video, but Carroll Shelby once drove the Indy 500 pace car - a Dodge Viper as I recall. It was great to see the grand old man drive the pace lap.

Oldsmobile actually. And I'm not sure if it made it out of pace car world. But I sure hope it did.

Now I feel st00pid. In my excitement over the Hurst paint scheme (and what I can only hope for inside: pistol grip 4 speed and engine upgrades) I totally forgot Hurst did Olds 442s (and apparently wagons)

I have an unfortunate obsession with Indy Pace Cars. (Really anything Indy...but, I digress). I attended the pace car reunion at IMS in 2009 (or maybe it was 2010, or 2011...) I've never seen the station wagon, but I've seen the 4 door they did up for Tony Hulman one year, and then it was always displayed with a Delta 88 convertible festival car.
I may have an album on Flickr that I can post here from the reunion. If not, should I make one?

Found it! But this is only a portion...
Also, there's a very good chance this won't imbed right, since I'm at work and the computers/ancient version of IE don't like kinja.
